  11. WHAT DO I GET BY REGISTERING?
  12.  
  13.     Aside from the legal and ethical requirements of registering shareware
  14.     after the evaluation period has expired, The Blue Wave Offline Mail Door
  15.     for PCBoard will support mail packets in both the native Blue Wave
  16.     format and the popular QWK format.  The latter feature is disabled in
  17.     the unregistered version; only the Blue Wave mail format is available.
  18.     Registering the door will unlock QWK support and provide a complete
  19.     offline mail solution to your users.
  20.  
  21. PURCHASING A NEW REGISTRATION
  22.  
  23.     If you are purchasing a copy of the door for the first time, select the
  24.     desired option from the "NEW DOOR PURCHASE" section.  Note that you
  25.     *MUST* specify the mail packet name you wish to use when purchasing a
  26.     new door (the mail packet name should, but doesn't necessarly have to,
  27.     reflect the name of your BBS system; for example, The Wild! Blue BBS
  28.     would have a mail packet name of "WILDBLUE").  You can specify up to
  29.     eight characters for a mail packet name.

  31. UPGRADING YOUR EXISTING PCBOARD DOOR

  33.     If you have already registered the PCBoard door and wish to upgrade the
  34.     door to support more nodes, select the desired upgrade option from the
  35.     "UPGRADE PURCHASE" section.

  37. UPGRADING FROM A NON-PCBOARD DOOR TO THE PCBOARD DOOR
  38.  
  39.     If you currently have a registered copy of the mail door for another BBS
  40.     (i.e. Maximus, Remote Access, QuickBBS, etc.) and wish to upgrade to the
  41.     PCBoard door, select the desired upgrade option from the "UPGRADE
  42.     PURCHASE FROM OTHER BLUE WAVE DOOR" section.

  44. PURCHASING THE BLUE WAVE OFFLINE MAIL READER
  45.  
  46.     Select the "COMBINATION DOOR/NEW READER PURCHASE" option if you wish to
  47.     purchase a new copy of The Blue Wave Offline Mail Reader when you
  48.     register the door.  You must indicate which version of the reader you
  49.     wish to purchase:  Standard DOS, DOS/386 Protected Mode (requires a 386
  50.     or better CPU and at least 2MB of RAM), or OS/2 (requires OS/2 2.0 or
  51.     later).

  53. RECEIVING YOUR PURCHASE ON DISKETTE
  54.  
  55.     Select the "CURRENT VERSION ON DISKETTE" option to receive a copy of the
  56.     door (and reader, if purchased) on a 3.5" 1.4MB (high density) diskette.
  57.     Other formats may be available upon request.
  58. RECEIVING YOUR REGISTRATION CODE VIA FAX
  59.  
  60.     If you have a FAX machine, you may elect to receive the registration
  61.     code for your door by FAX by selecting the "FAX-BACK REGISTRATION"
  62.     option.  Select the appropriate option depending on where you live (South
  63.     Africa, or any other country).  Note that you *MUST* specify your FAX
  64.     phone number if you select this option!

  66. COMPUTING YOUR PAYMENT
  67.  
  68.     Add up the prices of the items you have checked and place the total in
  69.     the "SUBTOTAL" field.  If you are a resident of South Africa, you must
  70.     specify 14% for VAT in the "TAX" field.  The total of both fields is
  71.     then placed in the "TOTAL PURCHASE AMOUNT" field; this is what you owe
  72.     to Cutting Edge Computing's agent, FastLight Data.

  74. METHOD OF PAYMENT
  75.  
  76.     Cutting Edge Computing's agent, FastLight Data, accepts payment in cash
  77.     (send in SA funds by registered mail only!), check or money order (drawn
  78.     on a SA bank in SA funds, payable to "FastLight Data"), or credit card
  79.     (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted). Indicate the
  80.     method of payment, and fill in the indicated fields if you are paying by
  81.     credit card.
